The LinkedIn network recently published its list of the best companies to work for. This ranking includes the 25 best companies worldwide with more than 5,000 employees, of which at least 500 are based in Spain. Various criteria were used to determine which companies offer the best opportunities for professional advancement.
At the top of the list is Amazon, the e-commerce giant, whose portfolio includes Amazon Web Services, Audible, Prime Video, and Twitch, among others. The company has several locations in Spain and regularly recruits for software engineers, customer service representatives, and supply chain assistants.
It is followed by Oracle, whose companies include Sun Microsystems, Siebel Systems, and Netsuite. Oracle has headquarters in Madrid, Málaga, and Barcelona in Spain and frequently recruits for software engineers, technical service technicians, customer service representatives, and sales managers. Many of these positions offer the possibility of hybrid or remote work.
Pfizer, whose main offices are located in Madrid, Valencia, and Barcelona, rounds out the list of the best employers in Spain according to LinkedIn. The most frequently advertised positions are sales representatives, customer service representatives, and medical sales representatives. Pfizer is a global pharmaceutical company that develops and distributes medicines and vaccines.
Other outstanding employers in Spain include Santander, whose companies include Openbank, Santander Asset Management, PagoNxt, and Santander Consumer Finance. With headquarters in Madrid, Barcelona, and Valencia, Santander is one of the world’s largest banks and has a significant presence in Europe and the Americas. Banking specialists, software engineers, and sales managers are frequently sought after. Some of these positions offer the possibility of a hybrid working model, while others can be performed remotely.
Fifth and sixth places are occupied by Gartner, a global company specializing in research, data analytics, and consulting, and Accenture, a multinational technology services and consulting company that also owns Innotec Security and Boslan. Accenture works with various companies to optimize strategies and processes.
Also mentioned is Danaher Corporation, which owns Leica Microsystems and Beckman Coulter, among others. This multinational company produces medical and diagnostic devices, analytical instruments, and microscopes for the fields of science, technology, and healthcare.
Also on this list is Bayer, the pharmaceutical and chemical company responsible for the development of products in the veterinary, human, and agricultural sectors. It regularly seeks software engineers, sales representatives, and account managers. Bayer owns Viralgen Vector Core and Monsanto, among others.
New to LinkedIn’s top companies list is NTT, which includes NTT Data and NTT Communications. This multinational telecommunications and technology group offers digital solutions, as well as communications and computing services, and frequently seeks software engineers, business development consultants, and project managers.
Finally, Roche, a global healthcare company focused on the research and development of medicines and diagnostic solutions, completes the top 10 best employers in Spain. Roche owns Chugai Pharmaceutical, Genentech, and LumiraDx, among others, and is a sought-after employer for software engineers, account managers, development and operations engineers, and DevOps consultants.
