By the end of the fourth month, a total of 60,423 units were registered, representing a 54.9% year-on-year increase and a 13.5% market share.
Registrations of alternative vehicles (electrified, hybrid, and gas-powered) increased by 41.4% in April, reaching 62,512 units sold, representing a 41.45% market share. Year-to-date, a total of 241,963 units were sold, representing a 41.5% year-on-year increase.

Sales of pure electric vehicles increased by 66.9% in April, reaching 7,614 registered units, corresponding to a market share of 6.55% for the month. For the full year, these vehicles were sold 64.9% more than in the same period last year, reaching 29,704 units. The cumulative market share for the year is 6.63%.
Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles – Zero Label
Sales of plug-in hybrids increased by 86.8% in April, reaching 9,610 registered units, corresponding to a market share of 8.2% for the month. For the full year, sales of these vehicles amounted to 30,719 units, an increase of 46.4% compared to the same period last year. The cumulative market share for the year is 6.86%.
Hybrid Vehicles – Ecolabel
Sales of non-plug-in hybrid vehicles increased by 32.3% in April, reaching 40,843 registered units. This corresponds to a market share of 32.32% in April. Year-to-date, 162,785 units of these vehicles have been sold, an increase of 35% year-on-year. They account for 36.35% of the total for the year.
Gas Vehicles – Ecolabel
Sales of gas vehicles increased by 22.3% in April, reaching 4,385 registered units, corresponding to a market share of 3.74% for the month. For the full year, 18,755 units of these vehicles were sold, an increase of 64.5% year-on-year. The cumulative market share for the year is 4.19%.
Passenger Car Market in Detail
Registrations of electrified, hybrid, and natural gas-powered passenger cars increased by 42.4% year-on-year in April, reaching 60,974 units delivered. They remain the preferred purchase option for the fourth month in a row, with a 62% market share. Cumulative sales grew by 42.1% to 236,295 units, reaching a 62.5% market share.
The upward trend in electrified passenger cars continued in April, with new sales growth of 79.3% to 15,957 units sold, representing a 16.2% share of the total market for the month—6.5 percentage points higher than in the same month last year. Pure electric vehicles (BEVs) recorded 78% growth to 6,835 units in April, while plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) increased their sales by 80.3% to 9,122 new units. For the full year, electrified passenger car sales totaled 55,701 units, an increase of 54.8% year-on-year, and a market share of 14.74%.
