A 20-year-old Italian man died in the early hours of Monday morning in a nightclub in Sant Antoni de Portmany, Ibiza.
According to reports from the Guardia Civil, the young man began to feel unwell and was initially treated by the nightclub’s medical staff. However, as his condition worsened, emergency services were called, but medical personnel were unable to resuscitate him.
The Guardia Civil has launched an investigation to clarify the circumstances of his death. Drug use is being considered among the possible causes, although an autopsy will ultimately determine the exact cause of death.
