On Monday, three bodies were discovered in a vehicle submerged in a canal in Cartaya (Huelva), according to sources from the Provincial Consortium for Fire and Emergency Services (112).
At 8:22 a.m., the Civil Guard informed the fire service that a vehicle had been found in the canal on the HU-3401 (road to Tariquejos) in the municipality of Cartaya, where the three deceased were.
The fire service remains on the scene, and five personnel from the Aljaraque and Ayamonte fire stations are responding with the support of five vehicles.
The Civil Guard, for its part, has launched an investigation to determine the causes of the incident. While initial indications point to a possible exit from the road, no theory has been ruled out.
