A 33-year-old British woman was found dead in her room at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel in Sant Antoni de Portmany, on the island in the Balearic archipelago. Local police and emergency services were called to the hotel shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday to care for the tourist, who had suffered cardiac arrest. After more than 40 minutes of resuscitation attempts, doctors confirmed her death, according to the Daily Mail.

The deceased tourist had a history of heart disease and was wearing an implantable cardioverter defibrillator, according to the local Ibizan newspaper Nou Diari. The Guardia Civil, in accordance with standard procedures, has prepared a report on the incidents, which will be forwarded to the judicial authorities. However, there is no evidence of suspicious circumstances.

This is the second tragedy at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel in Sant Antoni within a week. Last Sunday, April 27, a 19-year-old girl died after falling into the void while attempting to enter her room through the facade.

The hotel company released a statement expressing its regret for the tragic events and offering its deepest support to the families of the victims. It also expressed its gratitude for respecting their privacy during this time of immense pain.
